Pipes shall conform to ASTM A53, Grade A/B, Fy= 205-240 MPa and hot dip galvanized to Clause 17 of ASTM A53 / ASTM A 123 Average zinc coating weight on pipes shall be 550 g /sq meter (Approximate zinc coating thickness77 Microns). " The steel cones (conical tips) shall conform to ASTM A36/ BS EN 10083, C-30 or DIN St 37-2 standards as applicable and electrogalvanized to ASTM B 633, Type 2, SC3 , Sleeves shall conform to BS EN 10083, Part 2, C45 (+QT) and electro-galvanized to ASTM B 633, Type 2, SC3, Bolts shall conform to ASTM F568 M / ASTM A490/ISO 898 Part 1, Grade/Property Class 10.9, and electro-galvanized .
